A career on air came about from being a prize pig on a once independent radio station called George FM! After many years on the early morning “Short Black” pre-breakfast show, Murry’s 'hobby' turned into a full time job producing the Peter Urlich Breakfast Experience. He went on to become the DJ Liaison/Programmer – taking on management of the 60+ DJs on George FM, and eventually, took over as Programme Director

After being Breakfast Producer for Nick Dwyer for eighteen months, Murry left the station in mid-2010, and launched his own Breakfast Show down the road on the new kid on the block, Radio Ponsonby...

You'll now find him on air Wednesday afternoons 4-6pm on BaseFM Drive. Private parties, bars, clubs, our finest dining establishments such as The Grove, Ponsonby Road Bistro & Food Truck Garage, as well as Air New Zealand, Orcon, Production Associates and Audi regularly get the pleasure or Murry’s services
