Originally from the UK, arriving in New Zealand in 1988, Cian has carved out a well respected career as a DJ, promoter & record shop owner

For over 16 years Cian has run Conch Records, the much loved and well respected record store, bar and café in Auckland City. Stocking everything from Jamaican 7’s to electronica and beyond, the shop is the place to go for upfront music and home-grown releases

Due to this untold experience, Cian’s sound always covers a wide variety of music, with a typical set seeing him switch effortlessly between genres

Cian hosts one of Auckland’s longest running and most successful monthly club nights ‘The Turnaround’.
